Re. Zazen in English for Foreigners at Kenchoji

To whom it may concern

We are pleased to inform you of holding Zazen-Kai in English for foreigners. We would like you to feel the spirit of Zen, one of the traditional culture in Japan.

Kenchoji is the oldest Zen training monastery in Japan and has its history of over 750 years. Zen sect of Japanese Buddhism was the spiritual backbone of Samurai in Kamakura era.

Tea ceremony is also going to be held after Zazen.

We hope you to touch and enjoy the feeling of Zazen and Tea Ceremony at Kamakura, ancient capital of Japan.
